Transurban will not collect personally identifying information about you except when you have specifically and knowingly provided it to us or as otherwise permitted by law. In order to provide the services you requested, we may need any or all of the following information: your first and last name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, your E-ZPass® transponder number, vehicle information and license plate number, credit card number and/or other bank account or payment information, billing address and other basic account information required to perform account functions such as billing, account settlement, or enforcement activities.
In order to monitor the performance of our website or mobile application, we may track your IP address and your session time. This information cannot be used to identify you and remains anonymous. With your express consent, Transurban may send your name and contact information to a third party contracted by Transurban, VDOT or the DMV solely for the purposes of evaluating customer service experiences or offering optional enrollment in studies to improve the customer experience on the Express Lanes.
By using the Express Lanes website or mobile application, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Transurban. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
